The Sunbeam Owners Fellowship website now has it's very own rss feed. Drag the RSS feed logo into your news reader and you will get an update whenever there is something new on onthebeam.co.uk.
What is RSS?
The world wide web is made up of millions of sites and billions of webpages, some of them are static and some are changing all the time, the scale of the web can make finding material and staying informed an unenviable task. Now some websites, and it is becoming ever more common, will publish a feed of the latest news and information straight to you. With RSS the web will now come to you, all you have to do is decide if it is of relevance and interest to you.
RSS stands for 'Rich Site Summary' although it is now more commonly refered to as 'Really Simple Syndication'.
If you are still puzzled, there is an article on RSS on the BCC website.
How to use RSS
You need to subscribe to an RSS feed, some internet browsers let you do this (Opera, Firefox and Safari do, currently Internet Explorer does not). Or separate newsreaders can be used ( Google's list of rss readers). Or there are online readers (such as Google's RSS reader).
SOF RSS
If you subscribe to the SOF RSS feed we will keep you up to date with all the Sunbeam Owners Fellowship news. If there are new articles or pages on this site, if there are interesting conversations on the forum, or dates approaching in the diary.
